Polish singer Leszek “Leo” Szpigiel joined Mekong Delta after a very lengthy search for a new vocalist to pave the way with the new comeback album ‘Lurking Fear’. Known for his vocals with Scanner (as Haridon Lee) and Wolf Spider, he brought a high and powerful voice to the new music. Unfortunately, playing live with the lineup from this album seemed to be impossible and Ralf let everyone go. Leszek went on to play with the band Duke and returned after almost 20 years to Non Iron.
