Doug Lee, vocalist of the American Heavy Metal band Siren and well acquainted with Ralf Hubert, was asked to step in after Wolfgang left the project. His vocal style was completely different from Wolfgang’s and brought something new to the sound of Mekong Delta. Doug was also among the first from the line-up who played live with the band at the very first performance of the project in Vienna on the 24th of November 1990. Since ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’ (1996) was a competely instrumental album, Doug was not part of that recording although technically he was still a member.
