Ralf is co-founder of record label Aaarrg Records and a skilled sound engineer and producer. He was responsible for albums like Burning the Witches (Warlock), Vengeance of Hell (Living Death) and Kingdom of Madness (Edguy). In 1986 he was the initiator of the project that later would become Mekong Delta. He took on the duty of playing the bass guitar himself after Peter ‘Peavy’ Wagner (Rage) withdrew from the project after only a few months. Adopting the mysterious nickname Björn Eklund on the first 4 albums, he has remained the only original band member ever since. In 2005, when the first signs of Mekong Delta’s return surfaced after a long hiatus, he stated: “As long as I’m alive, Mekong Delta is not dead.”
